09/87 to Present	CONSULTANT: for independent filmmakers at various stages of development, production, distribution. LEMAR RELEASING COMPANY - Independent Distribution Company for the sole purpose to distribute independent films produced by Marino Film Group and outside independent filmmakers. FORGOTTEN HEROES is the first feature film to be released through LeMar Releasing MARINO FILM GROUP, INC. Created an independent film production Co. Marino Film Group, Inc. And formed Forgotten Heroes Film Associates, a California Limited Partnership in order to Produce and Direct a full length feature film "FORGOTTEN HEROES" Duties included development of story, raising initial investment capital, oversaw all pre-production, production, post production, including film editing, sound effects, ADR sessions, music scoring sessions, music editing, final mix, all lab work, both film and video.
12/86 to 06/87	AMERICAN VICTOR ORGANIZATION Producer for hire for AVO films & Director Victor Alexander to produce an independent 35mm film entitled "HELL'S OUTLAW" an action thriller made for $3000.00 and was sold at the Cannes Film Festival in 1987
01/84 to 10/86	SPARTANFILMS, LTD. Produced first independent film entitled "KILLZONE" through limited partnership, Spartanfilms, Ltd. was responsible for raising all the investment capital and overseeing all areas of pre-production, production, post production and finally marketing, negotiating distribution deal and recoupment of investment with profit to partnership.

1974 to 1980	Monsanto Chemical Co. Everett Massachusetts Production equipment operator in a chemical manufacturing of Plasticizers. Worked as a press operator, stymer S operator, 2nd operator, kettle operator, leading up to the position of chief operator. In this capacity I was responsible for the operation of sensitive manufacturing equipment that converted highly explosive raw materials into finished liquid plastic.
1975 to 1980	During this time I continued my college education at Northeastern University and training as a Shakespearean actor in classical theater, performing in and around the Boston area until I moved to Los Angeles in 1980.

He began acting in College at Northeastern University and in 1976, graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. Between 1976 and 1980, he acted in many plays in and around the Boston area, while working full time as a chemical equipment operator for the Monsanto Co. in Everett Massachusetts. In 1980 he and his wife moved to Hollywood to pursue an acting career. For the next three years while acting in films, he began writing screenplays and learning about raising venture capital to produce his own independent films. In 1984 he launched Spartanfilms, Ltd. and successfully raised the funding to produce an action film entitled "KILLZONE". The film was very successful and was sold to Vestron Video and the Fox Television Network, airing in prime time across the Nation. The film returned the original investment along with a handsome profit to its investors. With a financially successful film and a producing credit in hand be began to raise funding for his second film entitled, "FORGOTTEN HEROES". In 1986 he met John R. Lebert, a Real Estate Investment Broker and together they formed the Marino Film Group, Inc. and Pallavicini Productions to produce independent films. Along with his producing duties, "FORGOTTEN HEROES" would be the very first time that Mr. Marino ever directed a film. The task would be made even more challenging because he would be working with an ensemble of fresh, young actors and a profoundly deaf(mute) director of photography, Mr. Peter Wolf. "FORGOTTEN HEROES" best summation is by movie critic Mr. Wade Major of Entertainment Today: "In an age when heroism and patriotism have been consumed by guilt and shame, "FORGOTTEN HEROES" offers a welcome and inspirational antidote. A heartfelt tribute to the young men who lived, served, fought and died in the jungles of Vietnam. Producer/Director Jack Marino has created a tale of courage, conviction and camaraderie reminiscent of the great films of the World War II Era". "FORGOTTEN HEROES" is presently being considered by several companies for domestic distribution and is currently being sold in the foreign marketplace. Mr. Marino has developed six new scripts which he is anxious to get into production as soon as "FORGOTTEN HEROES" is released in the domestic market. He says he has a feel for what the public wants to see and given the opportunity through a major film Company, he would gladly prove it. The genre of his projects are; action-adventure, romantic comedy, western, bio-picture.
